World Day Against Trafficking in Persons - 30th July

World Day against Trafficking in Persons, will be led by the United Nations on 30 July.

Every country in the world is affected by human trafficking, whether as a country of origin, transit, or destination for victims. Traffickers the world over continue to target women and girls, the vast majority of which are detected victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation, and just under one third of the total victims trafficked are children. More information can be found here

Human trafficking is a crime that exploits women, children and men for numerous purposes including forced labour and sex.

Together, we can tackle child abuse

Working together, in partnership with national and local agencies and charities we hope to establish a new social norm that encourages the public to act on their concerns if they believe a child is at risk.

Child abuse. If you think it, report it.
